products or services by conducting customer surveys with open-ended questions, such as:
- Why did you decide to use the dealer you purchased our product from?
- Why did you decide our product is too complicated to install?
- What did we overlook?

Additionally, we use questions such as "On a scale from one to ten, how satisfied are you...?"
Although they won’t generate the same level of detail, they do allow more accurate scoring
of satisfaction levels, making it easier to compare results with future surveys.

Developing the questions
You define the information you need, York Consulting helps write the questions.
We make sure the survey will yield the critical information you need, without overtaxing the customers being surveyed.
Testing
Before we begin, we make sure your survey will accurately generate information that
will be useful to you by phoning a small section of your list. We will not proceed
until you’re satisfied.
Reporting
Afterwards, we provide reports that contain:

- Summaries by category
- All the detailed responses
